Why don’t I have pregnancy symptoms yet?

I am 5 weeks pregnant but not having symptoms. I was having mild cramps for awhile but that is gone. I also had that metallic taste in my mouth for a few days but that has passed too.
Shouldn’t I be feeling more? Should I worry that the cramps and metallic taste are gone?
Pre-eclampsia during pregnancy?

I just had a baby 5 months, almost 6 months ago and I was severely pre-eclamptic. I’m still feeling some symptoms of it now. How long does it take for your body to get back to normal after going through pre-eclampsia during pregnancy? My doctor told me 6 to 12 weeks and it’s gotten a little bit better, but not a whole lot.
